I still haven't shared my catch from July 14, 2021. The astrophotography session took place about 40 km from the city. The Milky Way was clearly visible to the naked eye. In our net, we caught the Veil Nebula—a huge supernova remnant—and the North America Nebula, NGC 7000, in the constellation Cygnus.
The total integration time for them was no more than 15 minutes, using two-minute exposures.
Equipment and shooting parameters:
Exposures: 120 seconds, ISO 800, Canon 1000Da, Jupiter-37A lens, mounted on a Star Adventurer. Calibration frames: darks, flats, and biases are included. Processing: DSS, color balance in Fitswork4, final touch-ups in Lightroom.
