At 100% size, the image is a complete mess. What did you do to it?

A bit of everything, I suppose. I tried to stretch the arms as much as possible to make them somewhat visible. I agree it doesn't look great at 100% size—I also reduced the photo size by about 30%, so the originals aren't very large.

I hope the shooting was done in RAW, not JPEG?

The shooting was done in RAW, and an issue arose somewhere during the noise reduction stage of processing.
