Hello fellow hobbyist! I happened to see your photo on VK, and it really caught my interest, especially after reading the list of equipment you used. I also have a coma corrector from GSO and a Canon 450D camera. With a standard T-ring, the coma isn't fully corrected, so I decided to reach out to you for advice. How did you handle this issue? Ernes states that the back focus distance is 57 mm, and with a T-ring, the coma should be properly corrected. However, a Ukrainian astronomy shop's website mentions a back focus of 75 mm and says an additional adapter is needed between the T-ring and the ring included with the corrector. If it's not too much trouble, please email me your response at aleksmc2008@mail.ru or contact me on VK: Sasha Bubela, Donetsk, Ukraine. I would be very grateful for your reply. I'll upload a sample of my latest photo here as an example.
I don't post anything on VK, you've made a mistake. Regarding the corrector, its back focus is 75mm, Ernest is wrong. You need to add the M42-M48 adapter from the kit and a 15mm ring to the T-ring. Even then, it still doesn't cover the corners of the Canon sensor, which is visible in the photo above.
