I tried that filter, but it only gives a blurry result. That's why they make separate visual and photographic filters.

Your recommendations for the triplet, just a UV/IR filter and a moonless night?

When you have time, compare a shot taken with this filter to one with a UV/IR filter—there should be a noticeable difference in sharpness.
