Thank you for sharing your photos - this is exactly what this project is all about! :-)
A photograph of the ISS transit, taken on February 3, 2020. It underwent deeper processing on February 18 and 19. First, I captured a series of flats (25 frames at 1/8 second exposure) to correct vignetting, edited them, and posted the result on Instagram. This was the first processing pass, done on February 14 and 15. Later, I discovered a huge number of hot pixels, so I captured a series of biases (28 frames at 1/4000 second exposure). But then I remembered that biases correct read noise, and hot pixels are not that. I had to capture a series of darks (7 frames with exposures ranging from approximately 134 seconds to 138 or 137 seconds). I had to stack and process everything again a second time.
In the end, the hot pixels were almost completely gone, and I was satisfied with the result.
I ask those viewing this photo to please comment if I made any mistakes in the processing or if you have any useful tips for shooting and processing astrophotography images.
