So what's the difference if the well depth is enough to avoid losing star color? On the other hand, the more frames you take, the more data you have to process later. That's a tricky question you've got there.

Sometimes, the number of frames really does make a difference)
I’ll post some other open clusters, and there the exposure time really paid off) In short, it all depends on the specific situation)
