Do you close the aperture of your 555 a bit? I have the same scope and with fully open aperture it gives strange distortion of stars

No. It's wide open. I just got it a month ago. I think that was a problem from the first ones. I would contact svbony about it. They are supposed to fix it if you get one that does that.

Got it, thanks! I bought mine 555 about a year ago, found this solution with a bit closed aperture and decided not to change it :) Clear Skies!

No. It's wide open. I just got it a month ago. I think that was a problem from the first ones. I would contact svbony about it. They are supposed to fix it if you get one that does that.
