10" (250mm) aperture, f/8 Ritchey-Chretien optical tube optimized for astrophotographic use with APS-C and full-frame (35mm) CCD cameras and DSLRs.
Removed all excess weight (the top Losmandy plate and two finder/guider mounts) due to insufficient counterweights.
Total dynamic weight of the tube with accessories is about 9 kg, plus 10 kg of counterweights—or 90% of the maximum for the EQ6R Pro mount.
Replaced the screws on the tube cutouts from Phillips head to hex socket head.
For initial positioning, I use only a laser pointer and the main camera.
Control is handled by a Lenovo ThinkCentre M92p mini-PC with 3x USB 3.0, Intel i5 CPU, SSD, and 8GB RAM.
Operated remotely via RDP over Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
