The moment of closest approach between the Moon and Nunki (σ Sgr) in Moscow on 22.07.21.

The Moon at a phase of +97%, one day before the full moon, and the star Nunki (σ Sgr) at magnitude +2.05m. The distance between the objects is 3-4'. Observation time was 22:12-22:38 Moscow time.

The video is composed of 500 frames, stacked to 125. A brightness inversion was applied to enhance the effect of the objects' close approach.
