Pac-Man Emission Nebula NGC 281 (IC 11, LBN 616, Sh2-184) in the constellation Cassiopeia
An HII region of ionized hydrogen, an active star-forming area.
Various gas-dust clouds and globules are visible in the center of the nebula.
Also in the center is the open star cluster IC 1590
