Was any filter used? Because with my 550, I couldn't even come close to pulling out the Horsehead Nebula.

Hello! I don't use any filters. It was shot in Bortle class 4-3. I think light pollution plays a very big role in this matter.

Well... the Horsehead Nebula at 550mm, ISO 1600, 15 seconds... :( Maybe you shot this in Namibia? Or Hawaii? :)))
