Beautiful Moon! How many frames did you take, and what were the exposure settings and ISO? How did you process it? What guides or tutorials did you follow? I'd love to capture something similar.
Here it's simpler. One shot of the full moon with a short exposure. One shot of the full moon with some light cloud cover to create a glow effect. One shot of the lunar phase. Then, we layer the phase shot over the full moon shot (the non-overexposed one), align them so the craters match, and set the opacity to around 70%. Next, we merge the layers and cut out the moon using, for example, the lasso tool. Finally, we place this cut-out moon into the shot with the overexposed moon.
