July. The start of the season, a few hours each night.
F/2.8. An inexpensive lens. Aperture wide open.
Near Moscow. July. The Milky Way is not visible to the naked eye. It's surprising anything showed up in the photo at all.
A crop of the center, because I didn't have a clear patch of sky at 16mm without trees, houses, etc. I had to crop them out.
Processing:
PixInsight. WBPP crashed with an out-of-memory error (too many files, 64 GB of RAM wasn't enough). I had to use the LN file for processing (LN reference generation).
Crop. Graxpert BGE. BlurX, NoiseX, HT_Stretch, StarX.
Starless: Graxpert BGE, red mask.
