I continue testing the new VeraLux scripts by Ricardo for Siril. I recommend everyone try the VeraLux Curves script—it's an amazing tool.
The VeraLux SyQon script is very interesting; I think with time and some refinement, it will replace Starnet.
I also recommend:
HDR-Multiscale — a compression tool: it smooths the brightest peaks (dynamic range) to reveal details hidden in the highlights, such as a galaxy's core.
VeraLux Revela — a local contrast engine: it adds "brightness" and depth to mid-tones and faint structures (texture), rather than compressing the light.
