Whoa, awesome. I still haven't gotten around to my Samyang. Did you set up autofocus for it?

Thank you. I have one EAF, and it's currently mounted on my Newtonian telescope, so I didn't remove it. I focused manually using a Bahtinov mask, and basically, I didn't touch the focus all night. Otherwise, everything needed is there—both the bracket and the strap. When I was shooting with a monochrome camera, autofocus was indispensable.

So, how are you liking the color version? Less hassle, obviously, but what about everything else?

A feeling of inadequacy when I see the Bayer matrix on an image) (just kidding). I'm very used to monochrome. For conveniences, perhaps it's just that you need to shoot fewer flats. Otherwise, it's actually a decent camera; there's a slight tilt that needs to be addressed.

I wanted a monochrome sensor, but after the Chilean data, the magic was gone. In the end, the sky decides.

There is no Chilean sky above me, and my heart is not drawn to remote work, at least not now.

Well, for practice and understanding the capabilities of different equipment, this is just the thing. Especially when there's no good weather for months.

And I'd say your skies are quite decent since you can capture IFN. And you clearly know what you're doing, judging by the results!
