2000 frames per channel at prime focus without a Barlow. Captured in Firecapture, stacked using drizzle method in Registax, color and subsequent processing in Astra Image.
I understand, but my setup is configured for deep-sky imaging, and I don’t want to change the camera position. I’d have to reshoot the flats afterward. Besides, planets aren’t really my thing. I tried it out of curiosity. I used to shoot with a Schmidt-Cassegrain. Sold the SCT, started shooting deep sky, and got sucked into that dangerous, addictive swamp.
