The image was taken near the village of Kolarovo in the Tomsk region. Gusty winds prevented the use of long exposures, resulting in many flawed frames—even at 30 seconds, the stars are slightly trailed. A pleasant surprise was the appearance of the nebulae IC 405 and IC 410.
