The Crab Nebula, or M1, is the remnant of a supernova that exploded in 1054 in the constellation Taurus. It has an apparent magnitude of 8.4m, a visible size of 6' × 4', and is located approximately 6,500 light-years away.
Taken from a balcony in Kharkiv, within a red zone of light pollution.
