NGC 2237 Rosette Nebula
A giant emission nebula located near one of the large molecular clouds in the constellation Monoceros. It is a region of ionized hydrogen where star formation is taking place. At the center of the nebula lie the bright blue stars of the open cluster NGC 2244.

Distance: 5,200 light-years
Diameter: 130 light-years
Apparent dimensions: 80′ × 50′
