An attempt to capture a timelapse of the waxing Moon (Phase=40%) through a ZWB3 filter, which transmits in the UV range and slightly into the IR.
The video consists of 300 frames, with the white balance set to direct sunlight.
It would be better to bring everything to a normal balance, or rather present it in black and white to show the benefit of the filter. As it is now, nothing is clear except for the blue-violet coloring.
Okay, I'll do that soon. I'll compare the ZWB3 filter and an IR-pass filter in black and white.
In any case, I wanted to show what it looks like in "direct light," since filters like ZWB3 (an analog of UG5 glass) are not often used in astrophotography.
