Open cluster M50 in the constellation Monoceros. Located between the stars α and β Monocerotis. A bright orange star stands out in the southern part of the cluster. Observations with binoculars will help distinguish 2-3 stars, while the rest will appear as a nebula. A telescope with an aperture of 127-150mm will resolve 40-50 stars (for easier finding, use a finderscope) of varying colors and brightness.
