This is not exactly Orion — it's the Andromeda Galaxy M31.

This is definitely not the Great Nebula M42 in Orion. This is a nebula in the constellation Andromeda, cataloged as number 31 in Charles Messier's catalog. Also, the contrast has been overdone. The background, even if only slightly, should be present. Here it is completely crushed, 100%. You shouldn't clip the histogram so severely on the left. The potential is there in the image, considering it's a single exposure. Good luck!
