The Triangulum Galaxy (also M 33, NGC 598) is a type Sc spiral galaxy in the constellation Triangulum. It is the third largest galaxy in the Local Group, after the Andromeda Galaxy and the Milky Way. Its distance from Earth is about 3.0 million light-years.

Captured over two nights, with a total exposure of about 6 hours, mostly in 10-minute subs. Equipment: Canon 450D, Nikkor 300mm f/4.5 ED lens (F/D=5.5), autoguiding, HEQ-5 Pro mount, tracking, full calibration. Processed in DSS (stacking) + Adobe Lightroom. This is a crop of the frame. Location: Krasnoselye village, Arsenyevsky district.
