first time using the dew heater, i don't think i needed it on this night but put it on anyway - makes focusing with the lens much more difficult

due to light pollution and much more importantly the t2i's uv/ir cut filter, this was entirely pointless and i knew it, just wanted to try something new again

also the first time doing flats properly (i hope), no noticeable effect on vignetting

wide field focal lengths on the lens is still very problematic with it adding in those colour bands around & star shape problems away from the centre

the double cluster looks nice though, the nebulas are barely visible, but surprisingly i did get something out of it, so not a complete waste of time?

14/12/2025 - came back and increased saturation on the jpg (i need to start saving the stacked results), brings out a little more i guess
