During the short summer nights, I had to photograph the brightest objects. I tried to capture good "ears" on the nebula, but even with stretching, they turned out faint. I used a short exposure to avoid overexposing the center.

The stars are oversharpened and there is too much noise reduction.

As I understand, you stretched them using arcsin or GHS. In the first case, you pulled the slider too far; in the second, you overstretched the first and second sliders, resulting in flat centers and bloated stars.

Got it, thanks for the answer! I didn't stretch it too much in Siril (tried the VeraLux Hypermetric stretch). I guess I overdid it later in GIMP on the star layer.
